Hosted by Ellie Costello and Chris Hope, the presenters explored the artists background and how he came to paint by holding a brush in his mouth.

Central to the interview was Rob’s greetings card design of a Christmas Robin, which is part of the 2025 collection of Christmas cards and other festive products available for purchase from the MFPA. The card image is particularly special to Rob because not only was it selected by the MFPA to be part of the 2025 UK greetings card range (an accolade in itself) but it also gave him the opportunity to become the first ever member of the UK Mouth and Foot Painting Artists to watch the journey of his very own artwork being brought to life, when he visited the print and production line works in the North of England. The journey was captured on film (with elements of the process being aired during the interview) which began with Rob creating the original Christmas Robin design on canvas.

Watching the film, along with the viewers, Ellie Costello remarked “You are so wonderfully talented. Seeing the pictures of you painting that Robin, it’s so intricate, it’s incredible”. The artist said, “I am so proud to see it come through the door, along with a select number of cards from other artists. It is an amazing feeling to know that I painted that card and that so many people are going to see it and use it to send greetings to other people and hopefully bring happiness at Christmas time”.
